Look Around You
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
When you appreciate what you have, you develop a sense of peace inside. This leads to ease and contentment, and ultimately, a gentle happiness.
Often, we take for granted all the good in our lives. We focus on the gaps, what’s missing. This is such a disservice to what we all want. We wind up in self-pity and disappointment.
When we turn our minds to noticing those who have far less than we do, we suddenly become aware of all the great things we do have. If we look very closely at all the details and we’re really truthful, most of us wouldn’t swap lives with anyone.
Living in appreciation of who we are, who and what we have in our lives each day, is a way to sincerly feel in harmony with our surroundings and at peace within our hearts.
Count your blessings. Then count them again, every day.
